Anne’s Place at 509 Fairview Avenue is near South Main Street, .8 miles from the entrance of First & Main Shopping Center.

From North Main Street in Blacksburg

Head from North Main Street to South Main Street.

Continue towards Kroger on South Main, then towards First & Main shopping center which will be on your right. At the main entrance to First & Main, the stoplight intersects with Ardmore Street. The next stoplight intersects with Marlington Street.

Take the next right onto King Street just before A Cleaner World drycleaners. King Street intersects with Hubbard Street. At the intersection and stop sign, turn right onto Hubbard Street.

When you pass the fire station on your left, bear right and Hubbard Street becomes Airport Road. On your left you will see street signs for Dehart Street and Rose Avenue. The next street on the left is Fairview Avenue. Turn left onto Fairview.

509 Fairview is the 5th house on the left off of Airport Road.

From South Main Street in Blacksburg

From LewisGale Montgomery Hospital on Route 460/South Main Street – or from exiting 460 onto Main Street – head in the direction of downtown Blacksburg.  Watch for the National Bank of Blacksburg on your left. At the corner stoplight, Hubbard Street, turn left.

When you pass the fire station on your left, bear right and Hubbard Street becomes Airport Road. On your left you will see street signs for Dehart Street and Rose Avenue. The next street on the left is Fairview Avenue. Turn left onto Fairview.

509 Fairview is the 5th house on the left off of Airport Road.

Parking

Please park along Fairview Avenue in the direction of traffic. (This will keep you from getting a ticket for illegal parking.) To park in the front of the house, please proceed past the house, turn around, then pull in front.

To ease neighbors’ access to their driveways and mailboxes, please park without blocking driveways or mailboxes.

If Fairview is full, please pass my house and turn left on Akers Street and park on Akers Street in the direction of traffic.

If Fairview and Akers are full, please park on Rose Avenue, Dehart Street, in the spaces along Airport Road between Rose Avenue and Fairview Aveneue, or at Margaret Beeks Elementary School. From Margaret Beeks, it’s a short .2 mile walk to 509 Fairview.
